Passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 21, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Dear husband of Margaret for 65 years. Loving father of Cheryl (John) and Dianne (Michael). Grandfather of Bryan (Stacey), Stephanie (Aaron), and Michael. Great-grandfather of Brooklyn, Everett, and Franklin. Doug was very generous with a great sense of humour and enjoyed being around people. He was a very creative Craftsman with amazing woodworking skills. He loved to be outdoors and had lots of fishing, camping, and hunting stories that he loved to share with others. He will be lovingly missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation will take place at PINE HILLS FUNERAL CENTRE 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON, M1K 1R1, (416) 267-8229, on Tuesday, January 31st from 12 p.m. - 1p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
