In memory of

Dorothy Tsai Chin Tham

November 20, 1941 -  January 8, 2024

Dorothy Tham has sadly passed away at the age of 82. She is predeceased by her husband, Michael Ken Sen Tham.

Born in Calcutta, India, married in Hong Kong, Dorothy then moved to Canada where she worked at TD Canada Trust and raised her children. She was a loving mother to her daughter Ellen and son-in-law Raymond and doted on her grandchildren Jordan, Tyler, Hayden and Ryder. And until the very end, Dorothy loved and protected her autistic son, Calvin, and took great care of him her entire life.

Dorothy will be remembered by her family and friends as strong and independent, opinionated yet feisty but most of all, a sweet, kind soul.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Birchmount Hospital for the kindness, empathy, and compassion they gave to Dorothy and her entire family.

She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.

My childhood memories of sleeping over at Ellen’s house will always be remembered with fondness. Thank you for always inviting me into your home, feeding me and treating me like family. May you rest in peace.
