Doris Mary Sims

Doris Mary Sims passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023, at 100 years of age. She was born in Orillia, Ontario, and at a young age moved to Milliken where she lived for many years with her family. She was a devoted daughter to parents Charlie and Annie, loving sister to Florence and Betty, and beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was a respected and well-known member of the community through her volunteer work with St. Paul's Anglican church, where for decades she ran the Sunday school and youth groups. Her later years were spent in Markham where she continued to work and volunteer, making many friends along the way.

Doris touched countless lives in her long and wonderful life, and she will be deeply missed by her family: Nieces Cathy (Steve), Suzanne (Ed), and Julie; nephews Charlie (Anne) and Allan; her great-nieces and nephews; and her great-great nieces and nephews.
