I was deeply saddened to hear of my Aunt Doreen's passing. I will always remember my dear Aunt as a warm hearted person who loved her family and people. My Aunt taught me how to put a frog and a minnow on my fishing hook! The best memories I have of Auntie Doreen is how I could get a rise out of her in a split second which would usually be followed by her saying I will box your ears!!! This of course would be followed up with a good chuckle by myself and Auntie Doreen. Her bark was always worse than her bite, in fact she never had a bite. I will always remember her for sending me a birthday card every year, sending my children birthday cards and always showing a genuine interest in me, my boys and my family. I will always have a smile on my face when I think of her as she was a part of my life as a child and adult. There will be a special place for you in heaven with my mother.
Doreen you were loved by many and you will be missed by All who new you. Rest easy 🌹🌹🌹
So sorry to hear of Doreens passing. I visited her along with her friend christina Fitzpatrick when she lived at Marion place, she was always cheerful and happy to see us coming with a timmys and an apple fritter lol. She also knit many hats on her knitting loom for the newborn babies at Lakeridge health oshawa where I volunteer, even making special Canada day and Christmas hats for them. I will miss our coffee chats doreen, God bless and rest in peace

RIP Doreen, you were a very special lady and I remember you way back in the day. We were all youngsters and testing our parents to the limits sometimes. You always had a smile.
