Donna Marie Donechy passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Ajax. Loved and fondly remembered by her husband Ron Tighe and his family. Step-daughter of Edward (Ted) Williams. Dear sister of Colleen Williams. Loving mother of Myrna (Roger) Galante and Marion (Stephen) Allan. Proud grandmother of Jason, Andrew, Paige (Noam) and Stuart. Predeceased by sister Kathleen (Ginger) Thomas and parents James and Gladys Smyth.

Service at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

We were very sorry to hear this sad news. Our condolences to Ron, Myrna, Marion, and your families. Donna was a lifelong friend to our Mom, Carole Muir (nee McKenzie), and was also close to our grandparents, Norm and Gert McKenzie. During their long friendship, Mom always looked forward to her conversations with Donna when they shared updates about family, work, and other life milestones. May your happy memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.
