Donald Bartlett Robert Scott

Donn Scott
May 3, 2021
Passed peacefully, at home, after a short illness. Survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Jean Anderson, his brothers David, Douglas and Dale, and cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Donald Bartlett Robert Scott was born in Toronto on June 27, 1951, third son of Ralph and Joan Scott. Attended John Ross Robertson P.S. and Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute, where he was a multi-sport athlete and an honour student.
A kind, generous, big-hearted man, always first to help family and friends. Loving caregiver to his Mother during her final year. Lived life on his own terms. With intellect, integrity and honour.
Together, Donn and Jean enjoyed an active life including golf, gardening, bowling, entertaining family and friends, and an annual golf and culinary trip to the Eastern Townships, Quebec.
Donn had a long, successful career in the group health insurance business, including as founder and CEO of Creative Insurance Solutions, a boutique group-insurance agency.
Greatly loved and respected. Donn, we love you, will miss you and remember you always.
Private family service. Burial at Pine Hills Cemetery, Toronto.

William J Knowles (Friend)

A kind and generous friend who loved to compete in any sport. The golf gods morn you, as I do.
May you Rest In Peace and your memories never be forgotten.

David Scott (Brother)

The words in Donn's obituary "Lived life on his own terms" apply more strongly to Donn than any person I know. As a child, teenager and adult, Donn knew what he enjoyed, knew how to have a great time and shared great times with those around him.

Taken too soon but left many happy memories of good times together.
Loving memories.
David

Our dearest condolences to Jean and Donn’s family & friends.
Though we have not seen Donn much the past few years, I have fond memories of many outings, many fun times out on the golf course. His impish grin was always a telltale that his great sense of humour was in motion.
Loved our cottage country gatherings.
Rest In Peace Donn.
