It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Donald “Don” Rivers on November 13. Don passed away peacefully at the age of 86, at AgeCare Trilogy Nursing Home, and is now reunited with his wife, Heidi, in heaven. Don is deeply missed and is survived by his daughter Kristina and her fiancé Dave; and is dearly loved brother-in-law to Linda and Brian.

Don will be remembered by many for his positive demeanour, sense of humour, and his genuine compassion and care for others. He loved helping anyone around him, and many referred to him as “the nicest man you’d ever meet”. He made a profound impact on many people in his life and he will be truly missed by family and friends.

Visitation and service will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre. After visitation, a short, intimate service will be held, followed by interment for family.
