Brian, so very sorry to hear that your Dad had passed away. We extend our sympathies to you, Mel and your family. May happy memories of your Dad help you through this sad time. Take care.
I have been looking for the Name 'Don Scott" for many, many years and I wonder .if finally I have been successful! I was brought up at 61 Wrenson Rd. in the east end of Toronto. Living across the street from Bowmore Rd. School and a wonderful park that had natural ice in the winter, I remember Don Scott with many fond memories. As a 5,6,7 year old who wanted to learn how to skate, a young man , age 16, 17 18 years of age, Don Scott, who also lived on Wrenson Rd. offered to take me skating. He picked me up ,walked me across the street, put on my skates and spent an hour or two with me. This happened many times. A great man, so generous, so kind and patient. At 81 years of age, I still treasure those times! I hope my search for this man is successful.Sincerely, Ross Best
