Don, my old friend, it's been many years since I've seen you, but you have always held a special place in my heart. So many memories starting with IBM and continuing until life led us in different paths.
To Robin and the family, my deepest sympathies on your loss. You have been fortunate to have him in your lives this long as he has been fortunate to have you.
My fondest memories of Boots and Robin was visiting the cottage and having my children lip sync and dance on the deck to the Oldies (which weren't old when we first heard them) while being video taped.
Your wedding was also one of the nicest events I have ever attended. I treasure our friendship and will always remember Boots with fond memories. Hope to share more with you at the Celebration of life.
Love and hugs.
Deb
A man who always had a grin and good humoured conversation to share with anyone and everyone! And, always keenly interested in everyone's opinion about any and every topic, and happy to share his own. He was fun to be around and will be missed. My condolences to Robin on the loss of her husband, and to Tasha and Dee on the loss of their father. Judy
I knew Don for many years, while working at IBM. I remember him firing up a steam engine one day at work.
He was a great guy and will be sadly missed. I expect to attend the memorial tomorrow at the Royal Canadian Legion in Stouffville tomorrow. And hello to Robin Stibbard, a name that I haven't heard in a long time.
Very sorry to hear of the passing of dear friend for 57 years. Unfortunately, I will be in China on 9/22/17 and unable to attend Don's Celebration of Life (The Party). As well as having a great sense of humour, Don was very generous, except when playing Poker or horse dealings. He was also a great horse racing fan and a very good handicapper. Don will be sorely missed at the IBM Luncheons where we met on a regular basis. My sincerest condolences to Robin,
