Dima was known to us the beach volleyball community as player with a very different style of playing the game he loved, extremely competitive and hard to defeat.
I was impressed how fast he has learned Spanish, and he has told me several times that he will love to retired and live in warm tropical place in the Caribbean.
I will miss you bud,the game will not be the same without you and I am sure that we will never have another player with the skills and peculiar style of playing that you had.
To you Dima I say, "Hasta luego mi amigo"
