In memory of

Dmitry Buzdugan

January 29, 1959 -  July 10, 2023

Last weekend, Dmitry spent his final moments pushing his kayak towards the finish line of a paddling competition in Welland.
Dmitry was born in Lviv, Ukraine, and moved to Toronto Canada with his wife and two children. In Moldova, his international logistics operation reached from Norilsk to Berlin, and musical events he hosted in his hometown made him a vibrant and treasured member of the community. In Canada, he used his craftsman talents to start and run his own contracting company. He loved to spend his time with his family, fishing, and training for an upcoming race.
Those who worked with him will remember the attentiveness and pride with which he realized his visions. Those who trained with him will remember the competitive and unrelenting efforts he put into each practice. Those who spent time with him will remember his genuine care for ameliorating the lives of those around him.
Dmitri is survived by his two children, and wife: Ana, Ion, and Anna.
The family extends an invitation to this memorial to anyone who wishes to remember and commemorate the life of a beloved father, husband, and friend.
Rest in peace, Dmitry. You will reside in our hearts in a warm glow of joyous remembrance.

Sincerely,
The Buzdugan Family

Dima, my Dear Friend,

It breaks my heart to say goodbye. Your love for sports and the outdoors has always inspired me, and I am grateful for the memories we created together. Our fishing trips, kayak adventures, and ski trips will forever hold a special place in my heart.

You were more than just a sports buddy; you were a reliable colleague and simply a good guy. Your infectious enthusiasm and zest for life were contagious, and you brought joy to everyone around you. Your kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and your absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

Dima, you will always be missed. The laughter we shared, the challenges we overcame, and the camaraderie we experienced will forever remain in my fondest memories. You were a true friend, someone I could always count on, and I am grateful to have had you in my life.

To Dmitry's family and all who knew him, my deepest condolences. May you find strength and comfort in the love and support of those around you during this difficult time. Dima's spirit will continue to live on in our hearts, and his legacy as an incredible individual will endure.

Rest in peace, my dear friend. Your memory will leave forever.

With heartfelt condolences,
