Linda Charlene (Bonne) Disher was born on September 30th, 1950 in Vancouver, BC. She passed away peacefully at the age of 73, on May 28th, 2024 at Brampton Civic Hospital, after a very sudden decline in her health. Predecease by beloved partner of Jim Shatkowski. Loving mother of Sherry, Ron and Kim Shatkowski. Adored grandmother of Kevan, Emma, Cameron, Jeff, Jonathan, Avery and Leah. Fondly remembered by great-grandchildren Isaac, Rayna and Elliott. Dear sister-in-law to Shirley and Vince Di Mauro.

Linda opened and ran POC Printing for over 25 years, before retiring to spend time with her soulmate. After Jim’s passing, Linda made memorable relationships with Avon customers, Bingo/Euchre Club, and Knightsbridge members. A lover of life and new experiences, she was devoted to her family and friends. To merely say that Linda cared deeply for everyone around her would be an understatement; as she proved day in and day out through countless hours of running Avon orders, helping others, telling stories, and caring for those around. She built new friendships quickly because of her charisma, compassion, and wit. She was a strong woman, a fighter to the very end. She even found a way back to us, to smile and laugh for one last time, to the words of “Don’t worry, be happy”. Linda will be remembered for her vibrant and cheerful ensembles, her sense of humour and her passion for life and all its opportunity.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 8th, friends and family will be contacted.
