Nhit Dinh Ho


Aged 98* (102 by the lunar calendar) peacefully departed this world surrounded by her loving family at home in Markham, Ontario on February 19, 2024. We celebrate as she is now reunited with our grandfather, Pa Kai, and mother, Khanh Van, who she is preceded by her passing.

Nhit Dinh, a beloved wife, mother, godmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was a pillar of strength and resilience.

Nhit Dinh was known for her meticulous record-keeping, diligently noting down everything from family birthdays to phone numbers.

Her many joys in life included baking, cooking, gardening, designing and sewing her own fashion creations and knitting for her loved ones. However, her biggest joy was her family, cooking for them and creating cherished moments of togetherness. She was the matriarch of the family who dispensed words of wisdom, and will be dearly missed.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were one of her simple pleasures in life. They brought so much smiles and laughter to her.

Beloved mother to, Khuay and Julie, son-law, Bo, honorary mother to Duy To, grandmother to, Sim, Minh, Mike, Diana, Lee, Henry, Kien, Jenna, Kengkhuang, Kengyong and Kengning.

Great grandmother to Kailey, Chloe, Alanna, Royce, Carter, Isla, Elyse, Marcus and Cameron. She leaves many dear friends and family.
