My father was a medical doctor practicing both modern western and traditional medicine. He has combined the strength of both medical schools to create injected- acupuncture approach while in Vietnam. During his working life, he has saved many patients' lives. However, my impression about my father was not about his medical career but about his faithful commitment to Buddhism. Every day and every time when I met my father, he always mentioned about how to practice Buddhism and how he followed the Rightous Path ingrained in him since his youth. I feel deeply that he was prepared well to depart his earthly existence on dedicated quest of reaching Nirvana.
