In memory of

Dimitrios Kapetanos

June 1, 1953 -  February 18, 2020

Dimitrios (Jimmy) Kapetanos, aged 66, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday February 18th, 2020 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Dimitrios is survived by his wife and love of his life Joanna, daughters Patricia, Soula, and Emmy, and his four beloved grandchildren Joanna, Santo, Maria and Dimitra.
Dimitrios will be remembered for his fervent love and pride of his family, his generous spirit, love of nature and his award winning gardens. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of horse racing, hockey, soccer, and his new found passion for the Toronto Raptors. A soft spoken man with a big sense of humor, Dimitrios could often be found smiling quietly in the company of his family and friends or serenading his daughters with songs from his past.
"I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, there's gotta be a little rain sometimes"

I am saddened everyday to know that I will not hear my uncle’s voice say “ Mary, you look so beautiful”. He always had a way to make you smile and feel good about yourself. I love you Theo Mimi. You are no longer in pain. Until we all see you again.....Love Marika
