Dimitra Zielinski left us suddenly, after a brief illness. She was born on April 15th, 1946 in Florina, Macedonia. Predeceased by her loving parents, Olga and Nick Kambasnitsali. One of five siblings, Dimitra sadly grieved the loss of her older sister Marika. Mary was her only child, a beloved and cherished daughter. Their relationship was deep and loving. Survived by her sisters, Sophie and Evangeline and her brother Stefanos. Loving nieces and nephews include Lillian and Nick (Deborah) Floros, Chris (Angie) Nanos, Tom Nanos and Stephanie Nanos. Dimitra was predeceased by her cherished niece Mary Floro-White (Ray White). Dimitra was a great aunt to Jonathan and Natalie Floros; Kathryn White (Alexander Hadjis), Madelyn White and Ryan White. The great nieces and nephews hold a special place in their hearts for Teta Dimitra. She was loved by her cousins Nicki Kuzmanovich and Bill and Suzy Kertsanis.

In Florina, Dimitra has left many great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Dimitra was known as Jean to her neighbours on Cavell Avenue in Toronto, where she resided for over 50 years. Heartfelt thanks to the caring community on Cavell that embraced both Dimitra and her daughter. Loved by many. She will be deeply missed. Celebration of her life to follow as per Covid 19 restrictions dictate.
