In memory of

Dimitra Grougios

August 10, 1930 -  December 23, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dimitra Grougios. Our beloved Mother, Baba, sister and Teta. Passed at the age of 94 at the Hellenic Home for the aged. She passed peacefully with her great granddaughter Halia by her side. Dimitra Shapardanis was born in Akrita (Village of Bouf) Greece. She was a proud Macedonian, and demonstrated a passion for her family heritage through songs, dance, her love of cooking and gardening. Dimitra married her late and loving husband Aristides, before bringing their family to Canada. Dimitra was loved deeply by her sons George and Johnny, as well as her daughter Nina. She will be greatly missed by her extended family; granddaughter, grandsons, great granddaughters, great great grandson, siblings, nieces and nephews.
