DIANNE COCKBURN

Dianne passed peacefully in the early hours of February 19, 2025, at the age of 88 surrounded by the love of her family. Dianne was born in Toronto on October 8, 1936, to Albert and Lois Barnard. She graduated from the TEGH School of Nursing in 1958 and retired as a nurse in October 2001. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2008. She is survived by her brother, Andy of Nova Scotia, her children, Suzanne (Mark), Nancy, and Doug (Linda), her 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Throughout her life she was surrounded by extended family and friends in England, Canada, and the United States. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Parkinson Canada - www.parkinson.ca. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1-3 pm, at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough.
