In memory of

Diane Marie Poulin

April 6, 1962 -  February 12, 2018

On February 12th, 2018 in her 56th year, Diane transitioned peacefully in the loving company of Family. Very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her Fiancé, Brian Pullen, Father, Martial Poulin, her Brothers and Sisters and their Spouses; Debbie & Frank Valente, Gary & Elena Poulin, Paul Poulin & Joelle Dussiaume, Tammy Derasp & Chris Monahan. Loving Aunt of Sabrina Valente & Steve Johnson (Great Niece Isabella, with a Brother on the way), Gary Jr. Poulin, Tyler & Laurisa Nemeth & her Best Friend Vicki Murray. Diane was sadly predeceased by her Mother, Shirley O’Connell, her Nephew Steven Valente and her other Best Friend Gizmoe Poulin. In her final two years, Diane discovered Peace, Love & Joy with Fiancé, Brian Pullen. Their adventures included an integration of Family & Friends, Yoga classes on Sundays, camping & canoeing in the French River. Her greatest aspirations were being a better Mother, Partner, Sister, Grandmother & Friend. Diane was a beautiful soul, in search of peace, and in many ways she was our greatest teacher, in our own exploration of the same. A special acknowledgement to her beautiful Children & their Families, Michelle & Scott Penton, their Children Avery & Jayce, Stephanie & Matt MacNeil and their Son Logan. May Diane’s transition bring awareness and joy to the battles we all struggle. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 17th from 1 - 5pm, at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario. East gate entrance). For Family and Friends in the Sudbury area, arrangements will be in the spring of 2018, where Diane’s ashes will be placed to rest with her Mother in the LaSalle Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers; donations in Diane’s Memory can be made to the Toronto Humane Society. For online condolences please visit www.etouch.ca.

1000 bandaids could not repair the tear and 1000 hammers could not destroy the healing. We love you so much for everything you brought, shared, and sacrificed.

A true Angel in Disguise.....or maybe not disguised at all.

xoxo

Life Stories

Paul Poulin (Brother)

Diane and my Brother Gary went to the same school and would go home for lunch each day. She was responsible for making his lunch, but was so worried about her hair & makeup, that she would empty the contents of one can of soup into a pot and turn the element on HIGH, then return to the bathroom mirror. Almost every day, she would burn (scorch) my Brother's soup.

For the Celebration of life, my brother had taken a picture of himself; in one hand holding a picture of Diane and in the other, a can of Tomato soup.

The sweet memories.
