In memory of

Diane Marie Emma Vitalis

October 14, 1945 -  January 18, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing away of Diane in Toronto on January 18, 2023, at the age of 77 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born in Montreal on October 14, 1945, to Lionel Duhamel and Vina Lebel. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert Vitalis, her loving children Marc and Dominique (Andrew Taylor), her loving grandchildren Noelle, Reese, and Oliver Vitalis, and Scott Taylor.

As an advocate for French performers in the entertainment industry, she became a very successful and well-respected talent agent representing French talent in Toronto. In addition to her accomplishments, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who prioritized her family that she loved so dearly.

Her energy, sense of humour, creativity, compassion, and kindness will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

In accordance with Diane‘s wishes, a private family funeral will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The Vitalis Family would like to thank the staff at the Odette Cancer Center of Sunnybrook Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, and the palliative care team at Mount Sinai Hospital for the excellent care provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Memory of Diane Vitalis to one of the following:

Diane was a very special person. We had a lot of fun together. We would see each other frequently by using our mutual gate in the back fence.
Diane, Robert, Gail and I had a lot of fun over the years.

Monique
