CRIPPS, Diane Lynn Rose

Diane passed away on January 2, 2022 at Lakeridge health Oshawa at the age of 59. She leaves behind her beloved husband Darwyn Douglas Peter Cripps, her loving children Graham (Shawna), Vanessa (Alex), Sarah and Josh (Jen), her mother Mabel Andrews (late father David Andrews).Diane was a loving sister of David(Nozomi) and Karen (Michael). Diane was the proud grandmother (Seema) of Danica, Brianna, Tianna, Elizabeth, Anabelle, Joslynn, Haisley and Patrick. Beloved aunt of to several nieces and nephews and a niece to many aunts and uncles in Newfoundland and Florida. Due to COVID-19, attendance is limited and masks are mandatory. Friends may call at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Friday January 7, 2022 from 9 am until time of service at 11 am.

NOTE, DUE TO LATEST ORDERS FROM THE BEREAVMENT AUTHORITY, NO CYCLING OF GUEST ARE PERMITTED. VISITATION WILL BE STAGGERED TO 30 MIN INTERVALS WITH 15 MIN SANITIZING IN BETWEEN.

Diane has always been an inspiration to me, as she has taught me that no matter what others may think of me, I am still able to move forward and accomplish whatever goals I have in life and thus making me a True Revolutionary, because as Diane might have accepted and even respected other people's negative opinions, she sure as heck didn't give 2 s**ts about it and did whatever she wanted anyway.

I will always love and respect that about Diane, because she chose to live life the way SHE wanted to, not how others felt like she should.
