February 27, 1925 - October 17, 2022

Diana Theresa Pereira (née D'Souza), formerly of Poona (India), Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), Windsor (Australia) passed away in Mississauga (Canada) on 17 October 2022 at the age of 97.

Diana is predeceased by her husband Ignatius and by siblings Rudy/Lydia, Fr. Bernard (Raymond), Cissy/Tinny Toscano, Bishop Emeritus Valerian, Colonel Bernard.

She is survived by her youngest sister Lorna; by her children Denzil/Alyson, Cynthia/Arno, Gillian; by her grandchildren Sean, Gavin/Jacinta, Tanya/Niek, Robert-Jan/Indy; and by her great grandchildren Maya and William and many nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 3, 2022 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Road West, Mississauga followed by burial at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga.

We were neighbours in Daressalaam Tanzania in 1957. Her family were neighbours of my wife’s family in Porvorim Goa . Diana was the sweetest person one could know. . A beautiful person with a heart of gold caring and loving. May her soul R.I.P.
