August 23, 1930 -  January 30, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that the Sercan Family announces the passing of their beloved Mother, Grandmother and wife to the late Mardiros (George) Sercan. She passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at the age of 93. She is survived by her three sons and daughter in laws Suren (Maria), Apkar (Chantale), Arthur (Jenny) and to her loved grandchildren George, Christian, Madison, Andrew and Great Grandchildren Noah & Lilah which she adored and was extremely proud of.
Despina Sercan was born in Athens Greece to Anastasios and Natalia Maheridou and was a loving sister to Bobby, Sophia, Panagiota & Maria. She moved to Canada where she married her husband of 50+ years and started an amazing life together. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, kindness & the great love she had for her family and friends. She enjoyed her daily visits to Fairview Mall with her husband to have coffee and shop all day.
Despina Sercan will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she left behind.
