So sorry to hear the passing of Dennis. I am close to his mother which is my Aunt Helen. I was not close to Dennis because we lived miles apart. As a kid we went to family functions. Grew up looking at family photos. My condolences to all the family. My heart goes out to you.

Dear Yogie and family,
It is with great sadness and deepest sympathy to all that we send this message. Dennis was our very dear friend. We will always remember him for his ability to make us all smile and laugh. That was his gift. He would deliver his witticisms with a straight face then once he had elicited the appropriate groans or laughter, he would giggle, pleased with his own cleverness and hilarity. Those were precious moments. We loved being in his company. We hope those happy personal memories will serve to comfort you now and be the glue to mend your broken hearts. He will be missed.

The short time that Dennis and I worked together at the Brampton Coke plant was the most enjoyable work experience from my 23 years there. Dennis was not just a co worker. He was a Great person to know I will miss him

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dennis. I spent my early childhood years growing up across the street from Dennis & Yogie as our families became close friends, but to me, Dennis and Yogie were like having another set of parents. I loved spending time with them and have so many fond memories of Dennis. I remember Dennis had me believing that they actually knew the Flintstones and that being invited to dinner meant the possibility of having Brontosaurus burgers. I remember playing I Love Rock & Roll on repeat on the jukebox in the basement or washing his Corvette in the driveway with him. As I grew older and our family moved away, we still remained in touch. In fact, it was Dennis who referred me to an opportunity at Coca-Cola when I was fresh out of college and after 23yrs., I still remain with Coca-Cola today. I will forever remain grateful and indebted to him for this. During those early days at Coke, Dennis and I played softball together with Coca-Cola and later on in my 20's, my Dad and Dennis coached the softball team Lindsay and I played on - what a thrill it was to have my two Dad's coaching our team!

I will never forget his infectious laugh, his funny stories and the numerous good times we had. I will cherish those memories forever and will reflect back fondly on the positive impact Dennis had on my life. He was and always will be very special to me.

To Yogie, Lindsay, Michael, Baba, Vasko, Loretta, Helen, Barb and families...we are so incredibly sorry for your loss and know that we love you all and are keeping you in our thoughts and hearts during this very difficult time.

Love,
TJ (aka. French Fry) & Perry
