February 12, 1960 - August 10, 2022

Denise Marie Mayers passed away peacefully on August 10, 2022, at Centenary Hospital.
Denise was a loving and caring person, who put everyone ahead of herself. Predeceased by her brother Rick earlier this year, Denise is survived by her brothers David (Paula) and James (Alison), her sister-in-law Susan, her nieces and nephews JR, Kevin, Melissa, Jon, Renee and her grandniece Aleigha. She will be greatly missed by her special friend and partner Alfredo Guido.
Funeral will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre on August 23rd: visitation at 11:00 and eulogy at 12:00, followed by the burial ceremony in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

It's hard to say good bye to someone so full of life! She was so strong and positive for so long. We were always hoping for her recovery.

We used to meet up several times a week to walk the mall. I couldn't keep up with her. I teased her that she marched the mall like a soldier. We'd stop and coffee after and we always had lots to laugh about.

She talked all the time about her family and loved ones. Showed me pics of her new grandniece. This made her happy. She was kind and funny and loved working as a hairstylist. She was looking forward to more travel and more fun...
