In memory of

Demetre Tanos

April 7, 1932 -  April 8, 2021

TANOS, Jim (Demetre) - April 7, 1932 - April 8, 2021.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Jim passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
He leaves behind his loving wife Treada Tanos of 67 years. A devoted father to Tom, Fanny (Jim) and Peter (Penny), a proud dedo to Jason (Angelica), Tracy (Chris), Kyle (Jenn), Amanda (Alex), Jimmy (Effie), Brandon, Jesse and a loving great-grandfather to Declan, Xavier, Gabriel, Mila, Finley, and Petros.
Jim was born in Banitza, Macedonia and immigrated to Canada in 1948 and was married September 26, 1954, to the love of his life.
He was a kind and humble man who worked hard his whole life, most of it as a restaurant owner.
He was the happiest when surrounded by family and friends.
His memory will live on through his entire family until the end of time.
