Tyrovolas, Demetra "Toula" - Passed away peacefully in her 90th year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved wife of Theodoros. Proud Mother of Chris (Niecy), Dino (Rebecca) and Ted Jr. (Mauro). Loving Grandmother to Katarina and Kristen. Survived by her brother, Chris Nikas of Kingston. Adored by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Toula lived a full life and touched many people with her fun spirit and generosity. She loved her family above all. Toula will be sadly missed by those who knew her. Friends and Family may call at Thornton Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa for visitation on Monday January 6th from 5pm-8pm (Prayers at 7pm) and Tuesday January 7th from 9:30am-10:30am (10:30am-11am will be for family only). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 7th at 11:30am at Evangelismos Tis Theotokou Hellenic Orthodox Church, 399 Farewell Street, Oshawa. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and Canadian Diabetes Association.
