Delroy "Puncho" Wilbert Caine, beloved father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on November 23, 2024. Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Delroy built a life defined by hard work, passion, and love for his family.

The son of the late Amy and Harold Caine, Delroy was predeceased by his brothers Carl, Errol and Vere. He is survived by his loving children Paula, Claudia, and Natalie; his cherished siblings Marva, Ronnie, and Oliver; and his granddaughter, Laina. and his great-aunts Maude and Winnfred. Delroy was also a wonderful uncle, cousin, and loyal friend to many, known for his warmth, wisdom, and the genuine care he showed to everyone in his life.

A skilled welder by trade, Delroy was also a man of many interests and talents. He found joy in music, photography, cars, bike riding, and savouring the beauty of Jamaica, where fresh fruit and fish dinners held a special place in his heart. He loved National Geographic, keeping up with the latest news and technology, and tending to his garden. His love for the outdoors, farming, and building reflected his deep connection to nature and creation.

Delroy was a nurturing father who always made sure his family was cared for. He would feed you, check on you, and ensure you were okay, showing his love in both small gestures and profound ways. He built a life in Canada to create opportunities for his children while building a home in Jamaica, the place that always felt like his soul’s anchor. His presence was a balance of strength and softness, a "what you see is what you get" authenticity that made those who knew him feel safe and supported.

A man of loyalty, honesty, and respect, Delroy valued quality time with loved ones and appreciated ambition and hard work in others. His wise words, protective spirit, and childlike wonder left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

Delroy will be remembered for his warmth, his wisdom, and his unwavering love—a safe haven in a busy world.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM at 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario, M4T 2V8.

In honouring his memory, we invite all who knew and loved Delroy to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who found joy in life’s simplest yet most profound moments.
