In memory of

Delice Ruth Trevorrow

June 10, 1929 -  February 18, 2017

RIP beautiful Mummy, Nana, Great Nana, Sister and Aunt.

Delice passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own bed on February 18, 2017. Her wish to be at home with her girly (Annette) was fulfilled.

These brief words cannot begin to express the sadness we all feel about her passing.
She was an amazingly talented classical pianist, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and the most intelligent person I have ever known...a perfectionist that expressed herself best in her music.

She was very strong and resourceful; she worked very hard to provide us with all the opportunities two parent families enjoyed. Raising two children alone after a tragic car accident killed her young husband.

She was an impeccable seamstress and created some exquisite pieces from ballet costumes, wedding, christening and prom dresses - not just for myself and my brother (no dresses for him), but for her nieces and grandchildren too.

She will be remembered as a remarkable woman. So independent, full of passion and let's not forget her candour. Her loss is devastating to us.

She has left behind a wonderful legacy. A legacy that will live on in those she left behind.

“She did not go gently, she raged against the dying of the light, but it was her time” as our Welsh poet Dylan Thomas would agree. ❤

It was with great sadness that we heard of Delice's passing. She was a wonderful lady with a great sense of humour.

We will remember always the Christmas she spent with our family and the many laughs we shared. Our only regret was that we didn't spend more time with her.

She will truly be missed.

Love the Marks family.

Dearest Annette and family, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I had the chance to meet your mom, grandma a couple of months ago and what a sweet lady she was indeed. May time help heal your wound but keep the lovely memories.

Thinking of you,

Lorraine and Ange xoxo

Wow! It feels as if Annette lived a lifetime with mom in the short time spent travelling, dining, and cajoling around. The pictures shared showed the fun times you all had. Thank you for sharing some of your mom with us. This is a hard time but she truly does live on in all that she left behind. God bless.
