My papa Del was a great man who will be incredibly missed. My aunt Margaret is asking instead of flowers being sent, a donation could be made in his honor to the humane society. This is because of how much he loved animals. My papa Del was most "kind to animals" person I knew growing up. He would never baby talk to us, but you bring a dog around and all of a sudden he was baby talking away!! He always had treats in his pocket to hand to the dogs even years and years after his sweet Bobbie passed away. One of the reason I love Boston terriers is because of the bond I saw growing up between my uncle and Bobbie.
Coming home for holidays won't be the same without you sitting in the living room watching golf, telling us all to quiet down. Cracking jokes and testing to see if we will catch on to your sarcastic humor, you always caught us being gullible.
I think the thing I will miss the most about my papa Del will be the way he supported my aunt Mag. He was a dedicated and loving partner who never held back when it came to standing up for his wife. I wasn't always the easiest or nicest kid to deal with and I remember my papa Del telling me I needed to respect and cherish my aunt mag. Really making me understand how my actions effect others. He always spoke up for her in that way, it was extremely admirable to see growing up and helped me recognize what love and respect truly means.

Rest in peace Papa Del. I'm very lucky to have known you during your time here and I will miss you very much.

In Aunt Mags words...
"I love you 👐this much👐this much👐this much 👐this much👐this much👐"
