Debra Lynn Jones, lovingly known as Debbie, passed away suddenly at her home on September 17, 2024 at the age of 62. Born on September 6, 1962, Debbie was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Phyllis and is survived by her brother, Brian (Susan), sister, Laurie (John), and children, Steven (Fox), and Serena (Greg).
Debbie was raised in Scarborough, Ontario, where she attended Seneca College and earned a diploma in accounting. Debbie possessed a kind heart and a delightful sense of humour. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, playing games, listening to music, camping, and reading. Her loyal companion, Bay-Leigh, brought her immense joy and the two were inseparable. Debbie will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Home in Scarborough in the St. Clair Suite on Saturday, September 28th. Visitation begins at 1:30pm, with the service to follow at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to their local humane society in Debbie’s memory.
