In memory of

Deborah Dale Crawford

April 19, 1951 -  February 20, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Crawford at her home on February 20, 2025 at the age of 73. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Shane Prince (Julee) and her cherished grandsons, Riley (Simona) and Jaxen, and great-grandson Elio. Deborah is predeceased by siblings Bob and Gordon. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Doris, and many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in South Porcupine, Ontario, Deborah moved to Toronto as a young woman. She built a successful career as a Legal Assistant, contributing her skills to her experience acquired while working at various law firms throughout the city.

Deborah’s favourite memories were made in the hockey and lacrosse arenas, where she spent countless days and nights cheering on her son, Shane and later her grandson Riley as they pursued their passion for both sports. A true hockey fan, she found joy and pride in every game, creating lasting memories with family and friends.

As per her wishes, cremation has occurred. A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.

Shane,
I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Although I only met your mom a few times, I remember her warmth and kindness. The last time we spoke I remember her being excited about Clarke McArthur joining the Leafs. Many years ago. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. My best to you and your family.
