In memory of

David "Dave" Chisholm

May 1, 1968 -  June 12, 2024

David William Chisholm, affectionately known as Dave, passed away on Jun 12, 2024. He was born to Barbara Ann Chisholm and William Carlton Chisholm on May 1, 1968.

Dave married Ama in May 2000 and together they raised four wonderful children Emily, Andrew, Katelyn and Michael. Dave was a devoted and loving husband and father and they will feel his loss greatly. He was always there when his wife or kids needed him, with a smile on his face, always ready to make you laugh. Words cannot describe the loss they now feel. He was the sole provider and worked hard at a job he loved, always putting in 200% into whatever he did.

Dave’s sister Suzanne Chisholm, whom he referred to as Suz, remembers Dave as supportive, fun, a talented guitar player, skillful renovator/electrician, and a brother with an incredible sense of humour. Suzanne’s two children, Sophie and Daphne Pelchat remember Uncle Dave as funny, down to earth, supportive, thoughtful and non – judgemental.
We love you Dave/Uncle Dave xxxooo

Dave’s sister Cara Chisholm and her husband Brent Viera and their 2 children Luke and Lauren, remember Uncle Dave as a wonderful brother/uncle, always willing to help individually or as a family, he had a talent and a skill in renovation and helping us, he was sweet, soft spoken and lots of fun when we got together.

Dave had two cousins, Dianne Caldwell with her partner Bruce McChesney remember Dave as kind, thoughtful, sense of humour and Dianne added “I thought he was handsome and cute.”

Dave’s other cousin Debbie Caldwell-McLellan with her husband Steve McLellan and daughters Carlie and Shanley remember Dave having beautiful curly hair, he always had a smile, always loved teasing or joking with them. Debbie got the biggest charge watching Dave tease her Mom.

He was a loving, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin who will dearly be missed and in our hearts forever.

Long live davedaveleadguitar!

I just want to add my condolences to the Chisholm family in your sudden loss. I didn't know Dave, but I have had the privilege of working with Dave and Ama's two musical daughters. They obviously gained Dave's love of music. My best wishes to you all, going forward.
