Dave will be missed. Its hard to know what to say when still in shock of the news...he always had a smile and was genuinely interested in the welfare of others. It seems like only yesterday when we were on rotation at metro hall talking about his upcoming plans for adventure. We worked together for 22 years and were friends for the past 15-18 of those years. The world lost a great one.

My dearest Dave,
You shocked me by your unexpected departure. No proper goodbyes , anyway,
I’ll be satisfied with your hellos with your charming smile. I pray for you everyday and was very sad that I am so far from you in your time of need. I’m happy that there are people around you when you left this world. I offered mass for you on your birthday . You will always be remembered as my bestie best friend, then , now and always. I loved you and you will always be loved.

Your profound smile has left me in awe, the last time I saw you was along Queen Street walking your lovely dog, I greeted you and after that we saw each other but once. You made an impact on my life and I'll never forget you. Your approach, kindness and your laughter is infectious; sleep well my brother in Christ as well as human family.
