Surrounded by much love, David passed away peacefully on March 11, 2017.

David was born on December 18, 1931 in Hoiping County, Quangdong Province, China. He immigrated to Canada in 1954 like his father (in 1917) and grandfather (in 1893) before him. He endured extremely difficult times in both countries but was able to forge a better life for himself and his family in Canada. He is remembered as a loving and hardworking husband, father and proud and doting Goong Goong.

David is cherished and dearly missed by his devoted wife of 66 years, Bor Jee, his 5 children, Fred, Edward, Isabel (Stan), Robert (Cherry), Carol (Bob) and his 3 granddaughters, Victoria, Allison and Keona. David also leaves behind his sister Jean Lee, niece June and nephew Larry.

Friends and family will be received at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road (north of St. Clair Ave. E.), Scarborough on March 21, 2017. Visitation will take place at 12:00pm, funeral service at 1:00pm and burial at 2:30pm. A reception in the main funeral centre building will follow the burial.
