David Morton passed away suddenly but peacefully on July 9, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 77.
Born on July 23, 1947, in Toronto, David's love for sports was evident from a young age. He found his true calling in the world of motorsports, where he excelled in both sprint and supermodified race car driving. His passion for speed and competition burned brightly throughout his life, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew him.
He is survived by his brother Gary Morton (Donetta) (daughters Stephanie and Mandy) and stepdaughter Ashley Bennett (Mark) and grandchildren, Marisa and Connor. He is also an uncle to Zachary, Skyler, Dilly, and Aiden.
David was born on July 23rd 1947 in Toronto, Ontario and had a love of sports including sprint and supermodified race car driving.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in David's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
