John David Lunt of Toronto, Ontario passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 82 following complications due to a stroke.

David is survived by his wife of 37 years Nancy Lunt and step-daughters Kim (Georgina) and Jennifer (Paul). He was the loving Grampa of Andrew and a caring uncle to his niece Lisa. David is predeceased by his sister Margaret and his parents John and Irene.

David worked for the Province of Ontario, Sales Tax Branch for 32 years. He enjoyed gardening, watching baseball and hockey, traveling with his wife Nancy and spending time with family and friends. He was very involved with his church and the men’s group there.

David's family will host a visitation and funeral service on Thursday March 9, 2023 at Pine Hills Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough, ON). The visitation will be from 12 - 2pm and the service will be held at 2pm. Guests may optionally attend the internment which will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to David's church, Rosewood Church of the Nazarene.
