In memory of

David Marsh Jeanneret

March 31, 1944 - October 13, 2025

We are such stuff / As dreams are
made on, and our little life / Is
rounded with a sleep
The Tempest, Act IV. i.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Jeanneret, who died peacefully at home in Toronto, on Monday, October 13th, 2025. David, predeceased by his mother Bea (Mellan), father Marsh, and brother Keith, was a devoted husband to Leslie (McCutcheon), loving dad (and second dad) to Marc, Brent (Karen), Stephanie (Manet), and adoring Grampio of Spencer, Nolan, Seth, Nate, Maxine and Simone.

Friends will remember David’s love of learning, fine tenor voice, patronage of the arts, adeptness at public speaking, care and consideration, and deep loyalty.

After retiring from a career in education with the YRDSB, David was a dedicated volunteer with King City United Church, Crime Stoppers of York Region, and the York Regional Police Chief’s Community Council.

A Memorial Service will be held at King City United Church, 50 Elizabeth Grove, King City ON, L7B 1H6 on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
