October 18, 1948 - November 17, 2023

It is with great shock and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David O'Connor on November 17, 2023, he had just turned 75 on October 18,
2023. David passed suddenly in the night while we were on a family Carribean cruise. Dave is survived by his loving wife Suzanne. He was the much loved father of Ryan; loved father-in-law of Joanna (Santiago); and the best Gramps to Hunter.
David will be sadly missed by sisters Susan (Ralph), Diane (Tom) and brothers Greg (Penny), Donald (Pam), William (Josie) and many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by Many extended family and friends.

Uncle David was a strong and straight forward kinda guy and you knew this as soon as you shook his hand. We’ll miss running into you at airports, excursions and restaurants. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our condolences to Aunt Suzanne and Ryan and family.

When David was in school he was an excellent athlete . One moment that stands out in my mind was when David was photographed sailing through the air during a long jump with his fashionable brush cut! The Toronto Star posted the picture in the sports section the next day. As a result David was quite the celebrity.
