Rev. David Folts 傅大衛牧師

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Rev. David Folts, in his 72nd year. He was called home to Heaven peacefully in his sleep on January 29, 2020. Rev. Folts is survived by his loving wife, Johanna. He will be dearly missed by his children: daughters Grace and Irene, and son Solomon (Jolane) along with his granddaughters, Mikaela and Alessandra. Rev. Folts served the Lord faithfully for 50 years and was a well respected member of the Christian community.

Visitation will be held at 10 am on Saturday February 15, 2020 at Elgin Mills Cemetery. Funeral service will take place at 11 am with reception to follow.

As Rev. Folts had a heart for teaching and training the next generation of seminary students, in lieu of flowers, donations to Christian Communication Inc of Canada (加拿大恩福協會) designated towards the ‘bursary’ fund (http://www.ccican.org); or made in his memory towards the Sunnybrook Foundation - Odette Cancer Centre (http://donate.sunnybrook.ca/tribute) where he previously received treatment, would be appreciated.

Rev David Folts was a Man of God. He was loved, chosen and trained by God for a glorious ministry that he would receive. And now he has returned home to be with the Lord whom he had dearly loved since he became a Christian. His life and message will continue to be an inspiration to many.

Rev. Folts, you will be greatly missed by me and those who have been taught by you. Your faithfulness, your love for us and your passionate heart for Christ will be remembered and will be rewarded. I have known you the first day I have accepted Christ and you are my pastor who have a great impact in my spiritual growth. To CMO, these are my words to you:
