David Donald Shedden Bowles

October 2, 1934 -  December 15, 2020

Passed away peacefully at home on Dec 15, 2020. Beloved husband of Olive Chatsworth Bowles for 62 years and deeply loved father of sons David Michael Bowles and John Chatsworth Bowles(Jennifer Wink) and dear grandfather of Christopher (Rachel Micallef) and Mathew. He also leaves his dear sister Sandra Keller and longtime friend and brother-in-law T. John Chatsworth and loved niece and nephews Mary and Gordon Tripp, Thomas S. Chatsworth and John Andrew Chatsworth. Son of the late William Shedden Bowles and Frances Lacey Turner. David was born in Montreal and was proud of his Quebec heritage. He attended McGill University graduating in Metallurgical Engineering and Business Admin. He enjoyed a long and challenging career with Nortel. An active member of several professional and volunteer organizations. David was a dedicated philatelist for 75 years, an avid world traveler, and he always looked forward to spending every summer with his family at their home on Georgian Bay. If desired donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders or to Sunnybrook Hospital Odette Centre.
