My heart breaks for you all as I know how much you loved David and he adored you. You have had such an amazing life together and so much happiness.
We are really grateful for all the effort you both took to come to Australia so often to visit us. It meant so much as we feel close to you all despite the distance.
David is at peace now. He is gone but his spirit, love and zest for life, family and friends are still around to keep his memories alive.
We have so many fun memories of David. He was a true gentleman just like beautiful grandpa Victor.
Mum and Dad are so so sad to hear the news of David’s passing. We all send our love and Danischewsky hugs to you all. I am so sorry for your loss. You will miss David greatly. We love you lots.

I am so very sad to hear the news, and I send my thoughts and condolences to you, Alix, Michael, Brett and the entire family.
There will never be another David. I feel so lucky to have had him in my life, to have loved me and to be such a powerful mentor. We are all thinking about you. I am struggling to put into words anything that may provide even the modest amount of comfort to you both at this time. Whilst our lives have been separated by such a distance, David has always will be so special to me, and I would very much appreciate it if you could pass on these few words to him. I have always looked up to you David for the family orientated person you are, and was forever happy and comfortable in your company. My memories extend way back into my early childhood given your frequent trips to visit us in Perth. You made a huge effort to keep the family connected. I remember your energy and good humour, I remember your generosity and love for entertaining and being so happy around family and friends. I remember your love of sunshine and beaches. You gave me your time and attention and career advice. You helped me with my resume way back in the very early days of my own career. I was inspired to be as successful in business, family and in life as you were. Most importantly you gave me your love and encouragement and no one could ask for any more than that. You have been an important person in my life and I should have told you that earlier.I have to tell you a strange phenomenon which I have never really figured out. So often over the last 10 years as I have been running or swimming laps (which is a regular thing for me as you know) my mind relaxes and wanders and you invariably popped into my thoughts and I think I must check in on David and see how he and the family are doing. As I said it is a strange thing to tell someone. I guess it reflects that you have never been far from my thoughts. Please know that I am thinking of you now and that I love you. All our love to you. It takes time to let this unwanted reality sink in. We were very sad to learn that David’s fight against cancer had ended, but will always remember that with his always positive attitude, he did so well for so long. We met with Susie and Jeremy Willings one Sunday, raised a glass to David and you and reminisced. Above all we were so sorry for your loss, it was clear that a deep love and friendship existed between you, we hope that your memories of David, together with your family and friends will give you strong support as your life inevitably moves on. We send you our love, put our arms around, you and hope we will see you again some time. We have all lost a special friend Fondest love, Bill and Jeannie
