Derek was a great guy. I remember first meeting him and how funny and friendly he was. We had several memorable Christmas dinners and get togethers. But what I'll always remember the most is how happy he made Eva. She was always so glad when he would come home from a long trip to Texas or we could all get together. Even though Eva and Derek were only married for a shot time, they were a great example of a loving relationship and I can only hope my Marriage is half as amazing as Eva and Derek's. You will be missed.
