Daniela Alejski

Daniela Alejski passed away peacefully, at the Bradgate Arms Retirement Home on Saturday, September 14, 2024, with her family at her side. She was 96 years old, born on March 6, 1928, in Zbaraz, Poland. She is survived by her daughter, Lucia McCurdy (husband, Bill); and beloved grandchildren, James and Julia McCurdy. She was predeceased by her husband, Lou; sister, Jadwiga (Jane) and brother-in-law, Borys Swiejkowski; as well as parents, Ksawera and Franciszek Zolcinski. Daniela was an avid gardener and bridge player throughout her long life. Cremation is to take place, followed by a private family interment. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Bradgate Arms, where Daniela received the most excellent care in her final months, and especially final days. Also, a very special thanks to the kindest caregivers from Home Instead, the PSWs and nurses from S.R.T., Spectrum, and the City of Toronto Palliative Care Unit.
