In memory of

Daniel Joseph Ward

December 13, 1930 -  September 8, 2025

Daniel Joseph Ward, (aka TOF) suddenly left us on September 8th in his 94th year to join his beloved wife Mary, eldest daughter Carol and two sons Danny and Terry.
A greatly loved Father, Poppa, Great Poppa and Great Great Poppa who is survived by his three daughters Loraine (Trevor), Sharon (Gordon) and Beverley (Paul) as well his son-in-law Barry and 9 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
His passion in life was his family, photography and airplanes. He spent 23 years in the Royal Air Force, flying, fixing and teaching mechanics. He then spent the next 20 years with Air Canada as a Certified Aircraft Technician. He was a lifetime member of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton. He loved those flights in the Lancaster, the Flying Fortress and every other vintage aircraft in the museum. He would regularly book flights at the museum and flew in every airworthy plane, most of them more than once.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad and Poppy. Danny was a great guy, and I know he meant a lot to all of you. He had a great life, but I recognize that that doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye. Love to all, Jean
