Dani Alexopoulos
November 17, 1950 -September 11, 2021

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Dani Alexopoulos after a short battle with Cancer.
Dani was the beloved husband of Teresa for 46 years, and devoted loving father to Cassandra.
He was always a cheerful, friendly person and spent most of his adulthood in the hospitality industry, most recently working casino events. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

Teresa would like to give special thanks to everyone who made/bought food for us, brought coffee & donuts when visiting, and drove Dani to some appointments. Your visits and help were a morale boost for Dani, and very much appreciated by Teresa during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
A Visitation will be held on Monday September 20, 2021 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday September 21, 2021 at 10am by Invitation only due to capacity limitations. Friends and Family who are not attending the Funeral Service are invited to join the family for the interment Section 18 lot 251 at approximately 11:00am. Guest may gather in the parking lot and follow the funeral procession to the graveside.

With Covid restrictions, unfortunately we ask that you keep your visit short to ensure that everyone who would like to pay their respects has the opportunity to do so.
Thank you.

I had the pleasure of having many in depth conversations with Dani about life, our industry, his hobbies, his family and so much more over the many years that he worked with us at Wildcard. I had a deep respect for him, always a straight shooter but just as quick to text random funny gifs to make me and my husband laugh at all hours of the day. He was such a proud dad always talking about his daughters achievements and future ambitions. Our staff loved working with him, he was an asset to our team and I considered him a friend. Our Wildcard family mourns with Dani's family and we will miss him dearly. I can see him playing poker in the clouds now that he is at peace. Our deepest condolences for your great loss.

Dani was a very friendly and helpful guy. We worked together a lot and he was always smiling and attentive. He kept in touch during the pandemic and we texted a bit during the holidays. He told me about his health issues and I hope I brought him some comfort with my prayers. Rest In Peace Dani. You will be missed.

Dan, we have been Brother-in-laws for 41 years and you were known by many names, Dad, Uncle Dan, Norm, Andy, Cuz and of course Big Foot. You made all of us smile each and every time we were together. Quick with a joke or a story that made us all laugh. I so looked forward to our texting during hockey games and will miss that very much. This world has has had you here for 70 short years, Rose has you now .We all will miss you so very much. I love you.
