It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Danh Nguyen on Friday, February 7, 2020. He passed away at 66 peacefully after a long battle with lung cancer surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving son, nieces, nephews, siblings, and extended family. Immigrating as a boat refugee from Vietnam to Canada, he built his roots here and made friends wherever he went with his charismatic personality. He loved walking his dog, Molly, people watching, listening to music, and singing. He cherished life, living each day to the fullest, and had a happy-go-lucky attitude that will be missed greatly by all. Family and friends may visit Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Services, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, ON, L6Y 5L5, for a celebration of his life on Thursday, February 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and a second visitation on Friday, February 14th at 9:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., and witnessing at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to their charity of choice.
