It is with a heart filled with love and gratitude that you are being notified of the passing of Mrs. Cynthia Rosalie Manmohansingh. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday November 7, 2020.

Born: August 16, 1928 in the 1st District, Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago
Died: November 7, 2020 Mississauga, Ontario Canada

She is survived by her children, Dave Vijay Shodhan Partabsingh (son), and Savitri Tara Rohini Manmohansingh (daughter), as well as 20 nieces and 18 nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Parents: William Mansingh Harracksingh (father), Louisa Bhopalsingh/Gopaulsingh (mother)

Siblings: Hegar (sister), Stella (sister), Pearl (sister), Naomi (sister), Valentine (sister), Violet (sister), Eileen (sister), Kenneth (brother), Winston (brother), and Bona (brother)

Married to Patrick Partabsingh, May 27, 1951 (widowed)
Married to Pooran Ralph Manmohansingh, August 17, 1962 (divorced)

Cynthia moved to England to study nursing, completing her course in 1965. She later moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and worked as a Registered Nursing Assistant at the Montreal General Hospital for 20+ years.

Cynthia was a lover of various crafts such as sewing, baking, cake decorating, smocking, flower arrangements, and gardening.

She was dearly loved by her family and friends, and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

Rest in Peace, Cynthia / mummy.
God has made you one of his angels, and has you under his/her wings.
You may be gone from this Earth, but your kindness, smile,
and love will always remain in our hearts.

Much,much more than a friend, Cynthia was like a Mother to me and a grandmother to my kids. She showed my family love and care and was always there for me.
I will never forget our times in Montreal.
Going to our favourite resturants in old Montreal in the deepest of winter, our long conversations. She was so much fun.
RIP. Cynthia. Basil and I will never forget you.
