It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cuong Huu Nguyen at Toronto Western Hospital on December 9th, 2023, at age 62.

Cuong was born on November 17, 1962 in Quảng Ninh, Vietnam to Trần Công Nghệ and Trần Thị Yến. Cuong is survived by his loving wife, Hoa Hoang. Cuong is the biological father of Tammy (Kyle), Tommy, and Emily. Dear brother of Hien, Chinh and many more siblings in Vietnam. Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He found joy in martial arts, billiards, and table tennis, mirroring his lively nature that left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Toronto General and Toronto Western Hospitals for their exceptional care and medical expertise.

Visitation will be at Elgin Mills Funeral Home, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON, on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10 – 11 am. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11 am – 12 pm at Elgin Mills Funeral Home.
