Cristina Paiso

February 21, 1956 -  March 1, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Cristina Paiso announces her passing on March 1, 2025, at the age of sixty-nine. Surrounded by love, she passed away peacefully at Bethell Hospice Foundation following a courageous four-year battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and joy that will be forever cherished by those who knew her.

Cristina “Mana” was the beloved wife of Wilson Paiso, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. A loving mother to Charmaine Tolentino (Jobert) and Valerie Sison (Harley), she was also a proud and cherished grandmother to Kassandra Tolentino, Serena Tolentino, Kier Sison and Zoren Sison. Cristina was one of the twelve siblings and a loving daughter of Macario Galang and Salustiana Galang. “Mama Tina” or “Mana” to twenty-seven nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her large and loving family.

Born on February 21, 1956, Cristina was known for her bright personality and her ability to light up any room with her warmth and infectious laughter. She was loud, expressive, and the heart of the family bringing people together with her social nature and boundless love. She took care of multiple generations of children in the family, nurturing them with her kindness and wisdom. Cristina had a passion for capturing memories, always taking pictures of people and moments, she held dear. She loved socializing, cooking delicious meals that brought family and friends together, and dressing up in fashionable outfits that reflected her vibrant spirit. She also had a deep love for travel and adventure, always eager to try new experiences and embrace life to the fullest.

Cristina will be lovingly remembered for her unwavering generosity, her boundless love for her family, and the joy she found in connecting with others. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel valued and special, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who provided care and support during this difficult time.

Friends and relatives may visit Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres - 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y 6B7 on March 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass service will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church - 8530 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y 5G4 on March 17, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres.

I wish to extend my deepest condolences to all of you. Cristina was and will always remain a beautiful person inside and out. God called on her too early in life but I'm sure he has great plans for her in heaven.
